Noise and Vibration
DIGITAL ENGINEERING AND EVALUATION
The NVH analysis is an extension of the dynamic simulation based on operational loads and does not require any further steps in the modeling process.
The results of the MBS simulation are directly back-substituted to obtain component displacement, velocity, acceleration and stress on the entire FE mesh. By simply defining a sensor at any mesh node, its displacement or acceleration can be calculated for all spatial directions as time signal or frequency results. This enables an immediate and quick comparison with measurement results.
Furthermore, an integrated acoustic post processing allow the evaluation of radiated sound power (ERP) on entire pads on the surface.
SEAMLESS INTEGRATED ERP ANALYSIS
Integrated pre-processor for defining ERP pads by selecting a suitable set of nodes on the surface mesh.
